Great Lakes Soffit warrants its products to be free of material defects in material and/or workmanship in the course of manufacture. Notice of defective products, including photographs, additional information and evidence of alleged defects, must be made in writing to Great Lakes Soffit, Attention Warranty Department at 610 St. Charles St. Beaverville, Illinois 60912, and mailed by certified mail / return receipt requested or personally delivered to Great Lakes Soffit at such address within ninety (90) days of receipt of such allegedly defective products. Great Lakes Soffit will replace at no charge, with freight prepaid (carrier of Great Lakes Soffit’s choice), any product that is found to be defective upon inspection by an authorized representative of Great Lakes Soffit. Great Lakes Soffit will not be responsible for any installation (labor) costs incurred with respect to the defective product or replacement product. This provision of replacement shall be the limit of Great Lakes Soffit’s responsibility under this warranty. Great Lakes Soffit shall not be responsible for other losses or damages claimed to be caused by any product or product parts covered under this warranty. No other oral or written representations made by Great Lakes Soffit or its agents are part of this warranty unless specifically set forth in writing by an authorized representative of Great Lakes Soffit.

Great Lakes Soffit reserves the right to discontinue or change any design or color of any of its products at any time and without notice or liability. If, for any reason, products of the type originally ordered are no longer available from us at the time you make a warranty claim, Great Lakes Soffit may substitute another product determined by us to be of comparable quality and price.

Factory applied polyester paint used on Great Lakes Soffit’s products may chalk and fade over time due to ultraviolet sunlight, thus color change to the product is not covered under this warranty.

THE WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN IS GREAT LAKES SOFFIT’S SOLE WARRANTY. GREAT LAKES SOFFIT MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

GREAT LAKES SOFFIT’S LIABILITY UNDER ITS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPLACEMENT OF PRODUCTS THAT ARE MATERIALLY DEFECTIVE IN MATERIAL AND/OR WORKMANSHIP IN THE COURSE OF MANUFACTURE AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL GREAT LAKES SOFFIT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, NEGLIGENCE, TORT, ATTORNEYS’ FEES OR LITIGATION COSTS. NO ACTION, REGARDLESS OF FORM, ARISING OUT OF YOUR PURCHASE OF GREAT LAKE SOFFIT’S PRODUCTS MAY BE BROUGHT BY YOU MORE THAN ONE YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION HAS OCCURRED.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
